Freshly Baked Loaves and House-Made Spreads Await at Bread and Water Company

What began as a few bakers selling their homemade breads at local farmers' markets has flourished into two brick-and-mortar locations known as Bread and Water Company. The second debuted about six weeks ago in Arlington, offering up the same soft loaves and breakfast nibbles as the original.

If you're looking for a freshly baked complement to your dinner, grab a crusty loaf of onion rye, Asiago, or multigrain. Snag one of the house-made spreads to slather on the bread, like the charred kale hummus, the salmon cream cheese, or the apple butter. You can also choose a trio of spreads and enjoy them in-house with slices of a freshly baked baguette. Craving a more substantial breakfast? Enjoy a cup of coffee alongside a waffle loaded with sweet toppings, like mixed berries, or savory fixings, like kale and an egg.
