If you’re in need of a new special occasion spot to indulge and enjoy for your next celebration, the new Oak Steakhouse on North Saint Asaph Street is a perfect go-to. Opened in July, this traditional steakhouse has been earning five-star reviews from all the locals who try it.
The menu starts with elevated farm-to-table appetizers like tuna tartare, oysters Rockefeller and an Italian burrata plate with honeycomb, blackberries and a pistachio puree – all staples for any great steakhouse. Then, from there you can choose which steak you’d like to enjoy with indulgent options like the 7X Farms domestic wagyu hanger or the 72-day dry-aged tomahawk ribeye. Top with seafood for a surf and turf combo, or select your sides, the white cheddar mac and crispy Brussels sprouts are definitely good go-to options! If someone in your party isn’t a huge red-meat fan, their salads and seafood dishes are amazing.
Oak Steakhouse also specializes in delightfully creative cocktails that you have to try. A couple of favorites are the Smoke and Ashes, concocted with tequila, a house-made strawberry shrub with special black lava salt or the Sweet Releaf which mixes vodka, cucumber, elderflower and mint with lime salt on the rim. Which will you try first? Salud!
